Overview

Hampi is situated in the medieval ruins on the banks of the Tungabhadra River in Karnataka with surreal and beautiful landscape. Vijayanagara, The City of Victory is under the World Heritage Site UNESCO. Although the city of Vijayanagara was destroyed by the Mughal’s in the 16th century, much of it remains today. Hampi Bazaar is a UNESCO-listed. Enjoy a sightseeing tour of the ancient ruins spread over an area of 25 sq km. Many of which are located in Hampi Bazaar and the surrounding riverside area, including the city’s holiest temples and Ghats. Badami has many ancient Buddhist architecture and sculptures of Lord Vishnu. The majestic and mesmerizing aura of the Badami Caves and their huge boulders attracts tourist to visit. Agastya Lake and many small hills are visible from the caves which hold a fascinating attraction. Along the way, if you’re lucky, you’ll get a chance to see sunflower fields making your trip worthwhile.

Itinerary

Desc:- The morning after arrival at Bangalore Airport/Railway Station Transfer to Hampi, En route - Take a tour of the famous Chitradurga Fort. The fort was built between the 10th and 18th centuries by the dynastic rulers of the region. Amazing Fort Chitradurga is build of seven concentric fort walls with various passages, a mosque, a citadel, water reservoirs, grain and oil warehouses, and ancient temples. Afterward, continue the journey to Hampi. On arrival, check-in at the hotel and rest overnight at Hampi.

Desc:- Post breakfast, get ready for local sightseeing – Sri Virupaksha Temple is a Hindu temple in the western part of Hampi Bazaar where one can enjoy local shopping. Amazing and powerful management involved in Hampi. There are many temples and historical places near the bus stand like Lakshmi Narasimha, Stepped Tank, Royal Enclosure, Shiri Krishna Temple, Hazara Ram Temple, and Dasara Dibba. At a distance of 500 meters from Hazara Ram Temple, the lotus Mahal is the primary attraction of the Janana Bada. Shaped like a lotus flower from above, the arches of the structure resemble lotus petals and give the entire structure the shape of a half-open lotus. The central dome is carved in the shape of a lotus bud. The Kamal Mahal is built in the Indo-Islamic style. Then visit the Archaeological Museum in Kamalapur, which is dedicated to the ruins of Hampi and nearby places. After that have your overnight stay in Hampi.
